We present these pages to offer some
well-deserved recognition for the wonderful people who
have given their ideas, sweat, and time to the Marshalltown Community
Theatre. Without their efforts, our theatre would be little
more than a dark room. We celebrate your generous gift to our
community!
If
you
have participated in an MCT production in the past, in any capacity,
please take your bow with the folks on these pages. Contact the MCT
Technical Director to arrange to be included.

Karen LOUPEE
(ROESSLER)
Marshalltown, IA
Karen's joys include her
family, gardening, teaching, and theatre. Although family time often
revolves around her son Aaron and his swimming activities, she makes
time for theatre projects with her husband Frank. Karen teaches at
Lenihan Intermediate School in the Extended Learning Program. Highlights
of her time here include directing a talented cast for CAMELOT,
portraying the nutty "Sister Robert Anne" in five of the NUNSENSE
productions, and being cast in three of her favorite female roles:
"Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine" in THE LION IN WINTER, "Kate" in TAMING OF
THE SHREW, and "Bella" in LOST IN YOUNKERS.

Maureen first appeared on our stage in
the 2003 production of THE WOMEN. Who could possibly say NO
to Sandy when he asks you to audition???
Prior to that she danced at the Follies productions, staged by the
Assistance League. Maureen's comments on her experience; "I
have enjoyed the new challenge presented by acting for the very first
time. The cast was a wonderful group of women led by an astute
director – a tremendous experience all-in-all." Welcome to the MCT family, Maureen!
