We present these pages to offer some well-deserved recognition for the wonderful people who have given their ideas, sweat, and time to the Marshalltown Community Theatre. Without their efforts, our theatre would be little more than a dark room. We celebrate your generous gift to our community! Jamie NELSON Marshalltown, IA THE WOMEN (2003) marks Jamie's fourth MCT production. The others were THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, THE WIZ OF THE WEST, and PLAY ON. Jamie has been performing since 1988 with her first grade piano recital. She was on the jump rope demonstration team, Skipper Magic, for eleven years, traveling to Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and Japan. In high school Jamie was a cheerleader and a member of the drill team, as well as a participant in the choir and show choir. She continues to take voice and piano lessons, and participate in the show choir at Marshalltown Community College. Jamie is a science major and a member of the MCC cheer squad. She says, "There is no better high than a positive response from a live audience.” Return to Alphabetic Selection

Fauna NORD Marshalltown, IA Fauna was last on the MCT stage in the 2003 production of THE WOMEN, and she returned to portray Mrs. Clayton (Dody) DeVries in COCKTAILS WITH MIMI during the fall of 2007. She has assisted back stage with hair and makeup, and says that being in plays is enjoyable because it is relaxing and helps with stress. "It's a great, creative way to express one's self." Fauna has several hobbies that include walking, boating, and doing some gardening. Return to Alphabetic Selection

Hannah NUESE Marshalltown, IA Hannah has a strong interest in the theatre and she displayed it during the 2006 Summer Musical WORKING, being a part of the orchestra and playing keyboards. She is not only interested in cosmetology, she also enjoys playing the piano, the viola, and she loves singing. Return to Alphabetic Selection
